We have had a number of positive enquiries. I’m new to this show but I’ll definitely be back. We’ve been to similar shows but this has been very positive in comparison. There are very few time wasters.

The Group Leisure & Travel Trade show is always good for us. It’s a really important show to showcase what’s new in Blackpool and Lancashire. I’m pleased to say that this year we have had cheese making demonstrations and Lancashire ice cream which has gone down a storm. It’s good to showcase the food products in the area.

This year’s Group Leisure & Travel Trade Show has so far been a great success for Ramada Jarvis. Visitor numbers are steady with a good quality of guest in both travel trade operators and group travel organisers. We had an absolutely fabulous night last night. We were delighted to have got a double whammy with winning the Best Group Tour Operator - Short Haul and also with Andy Wenham winning The Excellence Award for the first year. It was richly deserved for all the team, a long time coming since we last won.

We’ve been doing this now for about five years and we get to know more and more people every time we come which creates a good atmosphere. The show has been very good. We have met some new people as well as familiar faces, we got some good business. It has been well worth the two days hard work. We’ve easily paid for the stand! The entertainment has been superb, in fact it has been so good it has taken visitors away for the time it’s been on. We shall be back next year. If you don’t do well at one of these shows you only have yourself to blame. We’ve already booked in for next year.
