Hundreds of exhibitors lined the aisles as group travel organisers and travel trade buyers arrived looking for new contacts and great ideas. Plus, all were entertained by a range of video and live performances on the show stage, including a fantastic cast performance from West End hit, Mamma Mia!
Already, many exhibitors have secured their stand at the 2009 show, which will take place on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th September in Hall 10 of the NEC, Birmingham. This follows a trend of fast re-bookings over recent years and following a strong 2008 presentation this is set to continue.
Faye Thompson, general manager of Instant Cruise Holidays was enthusiastic about the 2008 exhibition: “It’s been brilliant. We didn’t really know what to expect because it’s our first time and the people that we’ve met are fantastic. A lot knew we were here and came to search us out, others have just walked by and had a chat. It’s been extremely valuable and we’ve got some very
good leads."
Catherine Heaton, exhibiting with Park Inn UK commented: “This is the first time we’ve exhibited at the show, and so far the response has been amazing. We’ve had real positive leads, there are no time wasters.”
Sales manager, Sharon Yandell was overwhelmed by the response: “Every year the reaction to this exhibition still amazes me and people have been keen to secure their prime position for 2009. Don’t wait and be disappointed, call me on 01908 613323 and I’ll help make sure you’re a part of GLTT 2009.”
