Visitor Numbers Soar by 36% at GLTT 2008.
Date: 26th September 2008

GLTT 2008Organisers of the Group Leisure & Travel Trade Show, which took place at the NEC over the two days of 24th and 25th September, report a substantial lift in visitor numbers and also record forward bookings for the 2009 show.

Visitor numbers were 36% up on the 2007 show at 2,397 and nearly 100 exhibitors have already booked for the 2009 presentation - one year out!

Commenting on the success of this year’s show, organiser Emma Cash said: “This has been one of our best exhibitions ever. It is very pleasing that the substantial investment we made in marketing and, the benefits we offer visitors and exhibitors at GLTT, have made such a big impact. It is also clear that moving the show forward to a Wednesday and Thursday date, rather than the traditional Thursday and Friday, was a big hit with everyone.

“Thursday was the busiest day of the two and naturally this was helped by the cast performances of MAMMA MIA! on our show stage, which came direct from London’s West End.”

The 2009 show will take place on 23rd and 24th September at NEC. Companies and venues interested in participating should email: sharon.y@yandellmedia.com or call Sharon Yandell on 01908 613323.
