I haven’t been to the show for several years but I always find it very interesting. I’ve been able to do some business for next year, watched the entertainment and enjoy a nice cup of tea. Everyone has been very talkative and helpful, and I think I’ve booked a group visit to Italy for next year, so I’m happy.
Judith Simons, Simons Coaches

I didn’t come last year because I live in Hertfordshire, but this year with the free coaches I was able to come along for free. It’s nice to be able to meet my suppliers and talk to other group organisers and meet old friends. I spoke to some people I already deal with and also made new contacts, so it has been very worthwhile and informative.

I’ve been meeting with lots of businesses, particularly on the theatre side. I’ve been to the GLTT show once before and it is always useful and there’s always plenty happening. These events are very worthwhile because email and telephone calls are all very well, but it helps to put a face to the people you’ve been contacting. It’s well worth my time.
Mark Chandler, UK Student Life

It’s been great to contact some people and discuss with them various aspects of next years programme. We’re being contacted by exhibitors here with some quotes for holidays and hopefully get some good discounts off the back of meeting with them. It’s important to meet with suppliers face to face. It’s all very well getting a book or a brochure but when you talk to somebody you can get that bit more information that might not be written down. Plus we’ve been getting ideas off the other GTOs, picking their brains for inspiration.
